Arsenal are set to join the chase for £10million rated Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Manchester United, Newcastle and Portsmouth are also reported to be trailing the 23-year-old, who topped the Eredivisie scoring charts last season after bagging 33 goals.
Huntelaar only joined Ajax back in January after a £6.5million move from SC Heerenveen, but his form has been so good this year the Amsterdam giants are now struggling to hold onto him.
Manchester would appear to be the biggest rivals to Arsenal in the chase to sign the striker.
They failed to land a replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy after his £10million departure to Real Madrikd in the summer.
